As you have probably guessed, I am originally from Western Mass. It is a privilege to serve my area and the surrounding areas! I am so passionate about seeing God move in this area and the hearts of the people that live here. Being that I am from the area, I know the struggles you and your group face on a day-to-day basis. I truly believe that Acquire the Fire is going to give you the hope and encouragement you need to face the challenges you face everyday! The Amherst Event is quickly approaching and I can't even believe that in just a few short week's I'll be boarding a flight to Mass! As I look at this journey I've gone through with being the Regional Manager for this event, all I can say is that I have learned so much about the faithfulness of God! I am frequently amazed by the steadfastness of His character and His hand in every situation. It excites me to know that the theme for this year's event is all about Encountering the Love of God...because that's what it's all about! It has been so encouraging speaking to so many of you, hearing testimony after testimony about how the Lord is working in your youth groups! Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers...specifically my own!

We are the BODY of Christ. That is something the Bible makes very clear. We are all working together under the same common goal. The reality is...we NEED each other!

I think about what motivates me to do the work I'm doing...and it's the reality that the next generation rising NEEDS to be woken up! This responsibility is all of ours. That means us, as a youth ministry, and YOU--parents, youth pastors, and senior pastors!

Speaking specifically to Senior Pastors...(many of you probably serve as the senior pastor, youth pastor, secretary, and janitors!)  I want to remind you of how important and valuable you are to the body of Christ. Thank you for responding to the call...for passionately pursuing Jesus Christ, and loving the people he loves.

Hello New England!

   I just wanted to take a second to first of all introduce myself...

My name is Christina Tineo, and I'm the Director of the Amherst Acquire the Fire! I just finished wrapping up the 08-09 ATF Tour with the Pittsburgh Acquire the Fire, and now I am pumped to see the Lord work as we kick off the next season in Massachusetts!

Know that my team and I are fully committed to doing everything in our power to help provoke the youth of this region to passionately pursue Jesus Christ!
