The Encounter
We did it! We just had the experience of a lifetime!!! Thank you for partnering with Acquire the Fire in helping the youth of this generation Encounter the love of God as they never have!
Our team in Texas was able to watch it live on GodTV...it moved us more than we can express. We prayed during through the entire event for lives to be renewed...for hearts to be transformed...and we are standing in faith that God moved mightily.
Please, let us know about your experience. Know that our team here is in constant prayer for you and always available to speak with you on the phone or email.

Give me the heart of a WorldChanger!
Well hello friends!
Thank you so much for taking a few moments to check out our website and be a part of what is going on in Acquire the Fire.
My name is Rhonda Brown and I am the new Regional Manager for the Hamilton, Ontario, ATF. I am very excited to be a part of seeing God move in the hearts and lives of young people across the nations. Although I have only joined the staff of ATF a few short weeks ago, Teen Mania and its mission has been very dear to my heart for years.
I remember attending my first ATF as a youth. I was 15 years old and my youth group decided to attend this event that I had never heard of. Being the committed youth group member that I was, or maybe just a social butterfly, I had to go and be a part of what was happening. That year the theme was "WorldChanger." To this day I can still sing a part of the main song for the weekend! That weekend changed my life for eternity. I realized that I could change the world. I could make a difference...and that is exactly what the Lord was asking me to do.
Now, many years later, I am a part of helping youth all over North America have this same experience. I get to partner with youth leaders and pastors from all over and help in shaking a generation. I consider this an honor as well as an enormous challenge from God. Who am I that He would consider me for such a privilege? Who am I that He would look at me and think that I could do anything of worth for His kingdom? Well... I am a WorldChanger.
My team and I look forward to partnering with you to make Acquire the Fire a life transforming event. Please contact us with anything that we can help with or pray for.
Be Blessed!
From one WorldChanger to the next,
Rhonda

Decision-making: opportunities for Christ
Some things we are given and some are acquired by choice. Daily we make choices, some big and others small. The decisions we make daily even hourly congeal to make who we are what we stand for and who we will be. Let’s think about the moment that you had such an encounter with God that it caused you to make the most important decision of your life. Our kids just need that encounter for a moment. The possibilities in 27 hours of Christ consuming content is mind blowing. Our God dares humanity saying: Come! Ask! Taste! See…I AM Good! Let’s consider this a round of Truth and Dare. Are you in?

24 plus 3 more
27 concentrated hours of focused attention. 27 hours of a potential torrential down pour.

I was listening to a sermon and the speaker spoke about a situation where there was drought for a while in his state. His neighborhood was fairly upper-class, and having unkempt or dead grass would land anyone living in the neighborhood a hefty fine. Each lot was about an eighth of an acre and each house had a sprinkler system. One day the speaker was talking to his neighbor and his neighbor said “Man, we gotta have some rain”
“In that mans millionaire mind he was desperate for rain.”
A day later the speaker was heading down road and he met a friend in his pickup truck. This man was a farmer for a living. That friend rolled down the window and look at him with a serious and distraught face, he told him “We are desperate for rain.”
“One man wanted it to rain so his grass would look good. The other man wanted it to rain so his children would eat. I think the church has asked for the rain that would makes us look good, instead of asking for the kind of rain that could make a generation live or die." -Damon Thompson (the Ramp)
We are asking for a deluge of God’s love Oct 23 and 24. We are expecting a 27 hour rain.
