24 plus 3 more

27 concentrated hours of focused attention. 27 hours of a potential torrential down pour.

I was listening to a sermon and the speaker spoke about a situation where there was drought for a while in his state. His neighborhood was fairly upper-class, and having unkempt or dead grass would land anyone living in the neighborhood a hefty fine. Each lot was about an eighth of an acre and each house had a sprinkler system. One day the speaker was talking to his neighbor and his neighbor said “Man, we gotta have some rain”

“In that mans millionaire mind he was desperate for rain.”

A day later the speaker was heading down road and he met a friend in his pickup truck. This man was a farmer for a living. That friend rolled down the window and look at him with a serious and distraught face, he told him “We are desperate for rain.”

“One man wanted it to rain so his grass would look good. The other man wanted it to rain so his children would eat. I think the church has asked for the rain that would makes us look good, instead of asking for the kind of  rain that could make a generation live or die." -Damon Thompson (the Ramp)

We are asking for a deluge of God’s love Oct 23 and 24. We are expecting a 27 hour rain.
